Contracting runs in the Corell family. Corell Contractor, Inc., had its humble beginnings in 1959 with Steve Corell and his single end loader. Steve founded the company after purchasing a Cat 955 H End Loader to dig basements for home builders in the evenings after his day job at his father’s construction company. Corell’s business grew into one of Iowa’s oldest and largest commercial sitework firms, becoming one of Steve’s proudest achievements. Today, the company has expanded to include underground utility installation services, concrete and asphalt recycling, and a full-service paint shop for heavy-duty equipment.
